Another video has appear on YouTube of James Marsters talking about the character of Piccolo and how the studio wanted to make him one way and he pushed for it to be the right way or in terms that he put it, the way he saw the character to be. Nothing really new here. Lot of what he talks about has already been said. Such as about Piccolo being old and ugly looking after being locked away from 2,000 years. The fact that lot of the movie will be done in post production and the overall look on how good the movie will be depends on how much money FOX is going to give for the special effects.

Here is the video

Another little tip bit that I saw reading all the different fan blogs and other message boards on the movie. Many are saying that Sean Schemmel (aka voice of Goku in FUNimation dub) isn't very happy with the movie. I wouldn't put anything into this because no one really knows, but from what some fans are saying that at Comic-Con this weekend he made a number of comments saying hes not following the movie because its annoying to him. Many fans are saying his just bitter because he wasn't asked to play the role of Goku or that they have left him totally out of the movie as in not even in a cameo role.

Yeah but I'm not really worried about that. I mean look at LOTRs. They made people who where like 5'8 6 foot into only 3 feet tall so I have no doubt they can make masters look 7 feet tall on film. Plus being how tall the guy playing Goku is, he only really has to be a full foot or two taller then that.

You know how Sean Schemmel feels is understandable. For nearing 10 years (Well, I forget when Season 3 first aired) he's been the "man behind Goku" for the USA and several other countries around the world (though there are others that get the "Ocean dub" featuring Peter Kelamis and Kirby Morrow). Now with this movie, anyone who gets into DBZ via this is going to see that Justin whatever guy as the "man behind Goku". They might even want the movie actors playing the roles of animated characters and suddenly the voice actors start to lose some of their credit for their roles.

Maybe but think of other shows that got turned into live action movies and the actors who did the voices in those shows never got asked to be apart of the movie. For all we know if FOX goes out and makes a game base off the movie they may ask them to voice them there. I think personally he has nothing to worry about. I mean because even if someone gets into DBZ by the movie, will want to know where it came form and as such will watch the show and will hear them. So yeah I don't think he has anything to worry about, he has over 300 episodes to his credit plus ever video game thats come out since like 2000 has had his voice while the movie at best will go three films.
