We just got confirmation from FOX that they “will be presenting the movie during Brand Licensing” in London. What exactly they will be showing hasn’t been revealed, though there is plenty of speculation. All we know for certain is that Dragonball will be presented.

A forum member posted that a video game, manga, and animated show based on the movie was announced in the 2009 Fox prospectus, though this is only a rumor.

The film is in final stages, 90 minutes long, likely PG-13, first in an on-going series. Major video game adaptation out next year, leading comic book company publishing new manga series based on movie. New animated television series in development.

Regardless, we should know what truly is in development soon. The expo takes place October 1st-2nd, and the official website can be found here.

I don't like it. First of all, why are the Brits getting first dibs on this stuff? FOX is a US company and we have a much larger fan base here. Although, they got stuck watching the Ocean dubbed eps so I guess they need a little charity every now and then lol. Have you guys ever watched any of those past the Pioneer eps ended? They're so lame....Cell sounds like a b-rate game show host lol.

Who knows if all of this is legit anyway. An animated show? - Negative. It'll never sell. And the movie only being 90 min is sooooooo lameeeee.

Well in truth, 90mins for a fox movie isn't all that bad and in fact lucky to get that. As to why, well as much as you may not believe this, DBZ was bigger overseans form the US then it was here and DBZ took longer to run there then the US so I mean we'll be luckly to get anything but the trailer and maybe some posters form FOX.

I glad that us Brits gets dibs on DB stuff, while the UK doesn't have a massive anime and manga fanbase Europe is a big continent and with plenty of people there are lots of fans, who I am sure want to see the film. As NU said we had to wait a hell of a lot longer for Dragonball, DBZ and DBGT episodes to be shown over here, usually with the ocean dub shown first, then the FUNimation dub.

Only a few years ago did they show some of the DBZ movies on TV but it was done by someone other than the Ocean Group and/or FUNimation and sucked so bad it was as if they hadn't seen any of the anime or read the manga and came up with their own stuff, Piccolo being called Big Green and the Flying Nimbus being named Magic Cloud were just some of the bad choices, meant I just couldn't watch them. Not to mention we often end up waiting longer than the US for films in general.
