Become a Sponsor of Majin Planet Competitions

What is is this Sponsor deal about?

Okay first off this deal is only for our affiliates and close friends. This is something no other fan site has ever done before, we are the first. Basically its taken action on what affiliates are. In the general mind set, the reason one would affiliate with someone else web site would be to create more traffic to your own site, this also brings traffic to the people you trade links with. As a result you both gain more traffic. Google, and other search engines like Googles weight link trades lot when they rank sites in their searches.

So how would I not only help bring our site higher but bring our affiliates long for the ride? Simple, more links. Every time a site links to your site, it adds to your page rank. Its not a lot, in fact you may not even notice it. However it does however cause more people to see your site. That is one of the reasons you trade links in the "affiliates" style because you place a link on every page of your web site. This is unlike trading links where one just places your link on a link page.

Like myself and others, you soon find you either can't take on anymore affiliates or you have to make a random list of them and show only a set number per page load. So one way I'm going to offer more traffic to my friends is by giving them more links and better placement on my web site.

How does the Sponsor Program work?

It's very simple, basically its a link for link trade and a info for info trade. Basically once you agree to Sponsor one of our events (see full list below). We'll not only place your sites logo link to you on that events main page, but will also put into rotation a button on our right menu near the bottom. We'll post major news about your site, paste your logo on events posters, and videos but when ever we talk about that event (we do often) we'll plug you. In return you plug us with a simple button on your pages and at least once a week, month post something about the event.

For example, if its a weekly contest you can either post the results of the contest every week or let people know when it starts. If its monthly you can do the same thing. It's simple and easy to do.

Now I'm sure your asking yourself, how does doing that give me more traffic? Well Majin Planet as been known for a lot of things, one of them as been the contests we run. With in the last few years we have been growing known of our Weekly, Monthly and bi-yearly competitions.

As of this moment we have two running Weekly Events: AMV Raw and Graphic War. Many monthly events: King of the Hill for example. One bi-yearly event: Fight Club, which is our biggest draw I may add.

Each of these competitions we make banners, posters and videos that we share on a number of sites such as MySpace and YouTube.

Think about someone going to our official MySpace page, and watching the latest Trailer for Fight Club, at the end they see "Sponsor by:" and your site name follow by your url. Simple this works the same way sponsors work on TV shows, they pay someone money to put there site out there. But over you paying us money, we are trading information so that no only do we gain more visitors who may enter one of our competitions, but you get more people who may love your site and what you have to offer.

Because this is a project test, it may not work, it may fail really bad. So we are only going to open this to our friends and affiliate parnters. If it proves to really work we may even open it to anyone willing to put the time in and help use promote our competitions. For now we have no limits of how many competitions you can sponsor and for how long. You can do it one month, one week, one year or any number of times. The choice is yours and yours alone.

  • AMV Raw Raw - Weekly Matches
  • Graphic War - Weekly Matches
  • Ultimate Vengeance - Once in February
  • Dynasty - Once in April
  • Sacrifice - Once in September
  • Do or Die - Once in November
  • Fight Club - Once in July
  • Final Evolution - Once in December

*King of the Hill currently is closed.

Now as I said, this is a beta project and my hope is that it works out for both parties as well as the visitors. One of the things I want to make sure of is that its simple to do. That is why as the rest of the year the status of this project will be beta and limited to friends and partners only. Once I get a feel to work this and if it is a sucess (which I hope it is) I'll take it to the next step. If you have any questions, problems or ideas for me please email me here or send me a personal message on the board.
